Aaliyah Biopic on the Way

Fans can breathe easier now that the director, Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) has assured that the yet-to-be-titled biopic of the late R&B singer Aaliyah will be just as flawless as Jennifer Lopez’s acclaimed role in Selena.

In addition to the casting of Keisha Chante, who will be playing Aaliyah, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, and Aaliyah’s choreographer and dear friend Fatima Robinson will appear. Sources close to the film say they’re going deep into the late singer’s life.
